What we have learned building and running our own platforms and apps – the answer always comes first, backed by our products.

You don't need a finished specification to start, just a few sentences on the goal, users, existing setup and constraints. With your go-ahead, you get a list of the input we need and your own project space in the Ayonto Drive, and from then on the project time counts. An MVP of a single platform can be ready in 4–8 weeks; a complete product with a web app, iOS and Android usually takes 4–9 months.
A map server of your own pays off when apps need maps offline, many devices load at the same time or several products share the same map. Then API keys, per-request costs and bans on pre-loading go away, but map builds and operations come with it. Ours is called tileco.re and has served Tactio since August 2026, and LeasePilot and BKF Manager are to get their maps from it too.
Anyone organizing Module 95 training either types names, dates of birth and card numbers by hand – or lets the camera read them. In BKF Manager, staff hold the driver qualification card up to the camera. Apple Vision on the iPhone and Google ML Kit on Android recognize the text right on the device and pre-fill the form. Two things make it reliable: we map the text via the card's field numbers, and a person confirms at the end.
A Watch app pays off in a workout mainly because of the data the iPhone doesn't have: heart rate and active calories. In NOXA, the watch measures both via a HealthKit workout session, shows them live and lets you control sets, rests and runs from the wrist; the workout starts on the iPhone. The real work was the connection between watch and phone.
If you sell subscriptions on the web and in your iOS app, you have two checkouts: Stripe and Apple's in-app purchase. Customers still expect one account. At LeasePilot, every purchase therefore lands in the backend as a subscription with channel, tier, status and expiry date, and the backend calculates the valid tier, not the app.
If you want to publish an app on the App Store and Google Play, you need a developer account per store: US$99 per year at Apple, a one-off US$25 at Google. On top of that comes a complete store listing with privacy information, age rating and demo access, plus two weeks of mandatory testing with at least 12 testers for new personal Google accounts. Tactio recently passed review on the day we submitted it, while every rejection costs another round.
If you run a SaaS, you want to notice outages before customers call and restore data quickly after an incident. We back up databases every four hours, check the backups weekly and monitor every two minutes, also from a second server. The GDPR doesn't require a location in Germany, but it does require a data processing agreement with every service provider that processes personal data.
Recognized training centers must report every Module 95 course to the KBA's professional driver qualification register (BQR) without undue delay; the law sets no deadline in days. Since August 2, 2026, reports include the attendance time per type of instruction. Our software BKF Manager builds the XML file from confirmed attendance; the training center uploads it itself in the KBA's web app.
