Operations & hosting

We run what we build.

Your software runs on servers in Europe – with backups, updates and round-the-clock monitoring. And with a point of contact who knows your system.

Scope of services

Everything that comes after the launch

Hosting, security and maintenance from a single source – by the team that built your software.

  • Hosting in Europe

Servers and storage in Germany, France, Spain, Finland and Norway – all within the scope of the GDPR.

  • Automatic backups

Regular backups, stored separately from the server – so nothing gets lost.

  • Updates & security

Security patches, hardened servers and encrypted connections via Cloudflare.

  • Monitoring & maintenance

Round-the-clock monitoring with alerts, on request with a maintenance agreement and guaranteed response times.

  • Automated deployments

New versions go live tested and automated – with a clean rollback if something goes wrong.

  • Staging environment

Test new features in advance on an environment of your own before they go live.

How operations work

From setup to maintenance

Four steps that keep your system running reliably.

  1. Setup

We set up servers, domains, TLS certificates and backups before the launch.

  2. Monitoring

Monitoring checks your application around the clock and raises the alarm when there are problems.

  3. Maintenance

We roll out security patches and updates after testing them – new versions on staging first, on request.

  4. Support & maintenance

With a maintenance agreement you get guaranteed response times and a fixed point of contact.

Infrastructure

Our own infrastructure, set up independently

Servers in 5 European countries, our own services such as our map server in Germany – that keeps us flexible and independent. No black box: you know where and how your software runs.

  • Servers in 5 countries

Data centers in Germany, France, Spain, Finland and Norway – all within the scope of the GDPR. We run our own services in Germany.

  • Cloudflare in front

Encrypted connections, protection against attacks and fast delivery via the Cloudflare network.

  • Containers with Docker

Every application runs in its own containers: reproducible, cleanly separated and not tied to any single server.

  • Proven on our own products

We run our own platforms such as LeasePilot and Tactio on the same infrastructure – around the clock.

Our own map server

tileco.re

For maps in our applications we run our own server based on OpenStreetMap – instead of depending on Google Maps and the like. That keeps us flexible and independent.

  • Vector maps for Germany and its nine neighboring countries – we decide when to update
  • No API keys, no cost per map request
  • Our own map style with better contrast – in your brand design on request
  • Compact offline: 10 × 10 km of terrain as a vector map under 1 MB, as a raster map around 30 MB (up to zoom level 17, measured)

Who takes care of updates and security?

We do: we roll out security patches, updates and new versions after testing them – on request on a staging environment first.

What happens in the event of an outage?

Our monitoring raises the alarm around the clock, and we take care of it. With a maintenance agreement we respond within guaranteed response times.
